About 35% of out-of-school children of primary school age worldwide live in 32 countries affected by conflict, which requires a much greater commitment to providing and monitoring education in emergencies. The OpenEMIS initiative provides solutions to collect, manage, analyse and monitor data on education in conflict and crisis contexts for effective evidence-based decision making and policy transformation.
